  1. Writing can be difficult, but publishing what you've written... I might just turn grey.

I pour my heart into each word, so when I published my novel it was like bearing my soul for the masses to judge.

With that in mind, what are my readers saying about Siren?

Some have told me that it's outside of their genre, but they couldn't put it down!  Check me out, introducing folk to something new.  Makes me all warm and tingly inside, to share with them something that I've delighted in for so long.  Anyone that knows me knows I spend a majority of my spare time with my nose in a book.

I've had some brilliant people tell me how much they loved the book - which is the best feeling ever.  I know what it is to love a book, so to think I've given that feeling to others... it still amazes me.  I'm grateful for your kind words, so thank you to everybody who has taken the time to contact me.  And I LOVE to hear from people, so email me my lovelies.

One of the things I like to ask my readers is who their favourite character was and why.  The responses help my writing and inspire me to keep going.

Of course, not everybody has liked every character.  One person even admitted that they liked the book but didn't really like Inara!   But this is a good thing!  There is a reason that the characters aren't perfect.  Siren is the first book in a trilogy and there needs to be room left for each character to grow.  If they were all happy and perfect from the start then where would the story go?  So, please don't let it put you off if any of the characters don't float your boat.  Any one of them could be killed off in the next book! - Ha, that isn't a spoiler alert because I'm not telling!

And on that note, I can confirm that Siren Burn is definitely coming soon.  It's written.  It's copy edited.  It's FINALLY proofed.  There's just a technical glitch with the formatting that's holding everything up.  Stupid formatting issues.  And, me being the technophobe that I am, my head might actually explode.  But I'm aiming for the release to be in October, so don't worry about it being sometime next year.

  2. It's here!  It's here!

So, tomorrow I will be posting a sneak preview of the cover for Siren Burn.

I'm soooooooooooo...... excited becuase it just looks amazing - Thanks, of course, to the amazing Imran Siddiq.  (He's an artistic genius, by the way.)  And, a brilliant author, so check out his books.  I started with Disconnect: Book one of the Divided Worlds Trilogy, and it was brilliant.  And, don't forget to leave a review, beautiful readers!
